Abstract
A description and technical specifications are given for a machine for the cutting of silicon, germanium, indium antimonide, cadmium-mercury telluride, and other crystalline materials. This machine differs from comparable tools in its control simplicity, high cutting speed, relia bility, and the ability to cut semiconductor blanks of fairly large di ameter into wafers with a thickness down to 0.1 mm.
