Abstract
A system of capillary zone electrophoresis with pulsed-laser fluoresce nce detection is presented. A pulsed nitrogen laser delivering 2.5 mJ per pulse at 337.1 nm is proposed as a light source. Parameters that i nfluence the detector performance were studied. Three drugs (triamtere ne, acebutolol and bendroflumethiazide) were determined to evaluate th e laboratory-constructed capillary electrophoresis system. The techniq ue was applied to human urine.
