Anions (loss of 3N hydrogen) of 2-acetylpyridine azacyclothiosemicarba
zones coordinate in a planar conformation to a central nickel(II) or c
opper(II) ion through the pyridyl N, azomethine N and thiolato S atoms
. The fourth coordination site is occupied by a bromo ligand. Their ab
ility to inhibit the growth of two fungi is compared to their structur
al differences.
