Abstract
The aim of the study was to compare the diffusion of AMK 15 mg/kg OD v s 7,5 mg/kg bid and vs Netilmicin 6 mg/kg OD in different tissues in r abbits. Tissue levels in lungs were fourfold higher for AMK OD vs bid (more efficacious), but peak level ratios (Kidney/serum) were lower (l ess toxic) for AMK OD compared to NTM OD and to AMK bid. Many other da tas are reported. It confirms a new trend in aminoglycosides prescript ion.
