Abstract
The incompatibility of the majority of plastics with each other causes a multiphase structure of their blends. This provides great opportuni ty for the variation of properties of such blends. In order to utilize that, it is necessary to know the effect of the thermomechanical hist ory during mixing on the morphology and dispersity as well as on the m echanical properties of the blends. A new measuring system has been de signed specifically for the studies of blends.
