Abstract
Adhesive components have to be designed for economical and safe servic e. The analysis of the stress-strain state of adhesive joints can be p erformed by experiment, by analytical closed calculation or by numeric al calculation (FEM). Based on the present knowledge about the loading state of adhesive joints subjected to mechanical loading, temperature , humidity and aggressive media a dimensioning method has been develop ed.
