Abstract
The analysis of the nu(CO) infrared and Raman spectra of the title com pounds demonstrates the feasibility of using reliable force constant d ata from a model species in the interpretation of the vibrational spec tra of another. This parameter transferability, similar to that used i n the Extended Huckel method, should lead to a progress in understandi ng the vibrational CO spectra of more complex, low symmetry metal carb onyl cluster compounds.
