Abstract
An ultrafiltration system is used to obtain an endotoxin-free buffer f or the LAL test. The procedure is combined with a kinetic LAL reaction of high sensitivity. This approach allows for the easy determination of endotoxin levels in parenterals with LAL-interfering substances, re ducing the maximum valid dilution necessary for use in product develop ment.
