Abstract
This paper deals with the ''Capacitated two-stage multi-item productio n/inventory model with joint setup costs'' that was originally address ed by Anily and Federgruen in Operations Research (1991). We obtain th e optimal solution to the problem as an explicit expression. We also s how that it is optimal to replenish all the items together in every se tup in the second stage.
