S. Bednarek, MAGNETOELASTIC PROPERTIES OF A FERROELAST WITHIN AN ORGANOSILICON POLYMER MATRIX, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 166(1-2), 1997, pp. 91-96
This paper describes a way of producing ferroelast, a soft magnetic co
mposite material with susceptibility to mechanical deformations. This
ferroelast consists of the particles of silicon steel dispersed in a o
rgano-silicon polymer matrix. We introduce an equivalent model of the
ferroelast structure, and derive a formula describing the dependence o
f the parameter lambda . E characterizing the susceptibility of the fe
rroelast to deformation caused by an heterogeneous magnetic field. Thi
s dependence is then verified experimentally for various contents of s
ilicon steel particles in the ferroelast.
