Abstract
A pulse microcatalytic method has been used to study the oxidation of CO by atmospheric oxygen over the heterogeneous catalysts APK-2, Pd,Ce /Al2O3, La,Ni/Al2O3, Tseokar-2 zeolite, and PcFe/NaY [PcFe is an Fe(II ) phthalocyanine complex]. The effective activation parameters E(a) an d k0 have been calculated for the reaction. For the systems listed abo ve, the respective values are 17, 45, 57, 25, and 32 kJ/mole, and 0.18 8, 815.6, 71.95, 1.589, and 1.14 moles-MPa-1.sec-1.g-1. The catalytic properties of these systems have been compared.
