Abstract
A method of non-flame atomic fluorescence was applied for following th e contents of mercury in Vojvodina water currents with an apparatus co nstructed for that purpose. The aeration technique with argon as the a eration gas and the reduction of samples by stannous chloride were app lied for obtaining metal mercury vapour. The detection limit of the me thod was 1 pg/l.
