HMPAO-d2 and Deuterium labelled esters of Cytectrenecarbonic ester wit
h alcohols of cyclic amines were synthesized and additional labelled w
ith Tc-99m. The organ distribution in rats showed a higher brain uptak
e of the cytectrene ester than HMPAO with a far higher Tc-99m concentr
ation ratio brain/blood. The deuterated compounds showed a lower Tc-99
m concentration in blood, but no higher uptake in brain.
