Abstract
Synthesis of CoAPO-5 molecular sieve has been attempted using N,N-dime thylbenzylamine as template. Incorporation of cobalt into the AlPO4-5 framework has been established using various physico-chemical characte rization techniques such as MAS NMR, ESR, DRS, IR, etc. Cobalt incorpo ration in AlPO4-5 framework generates moderately strong acid sites as evidenced by the temperature programmed desorption profile of NH3 over the sample.
