Abstract
A simple, rapid and direct spectrophotometric method has been develope d for the spectrophotometric determination of cobalt(II). The molar ab sorptivity of the complex is 3.0 x 10(4) l mol-1 cm-1. Various paramet ers including the concentration of ATG, effect of pH and diverse ions have been studied to optimize the determination of cobalt in alloys an d pharmaceutical samples.
