Mass spectra of alkyltitanocene dichlorides (C(5)H(4)R)(2)TiCl2 (R = M
e(2)CH, Me(2)CD, Me(3)C, and Me(3)Si) and (C(5)Me(5))(2)TiCl2 were stu
died. The participation of hydrogen atoms at the alpha-C atoms of subs
tituents in the rearrangement processes were investigated using deuter
ium labeling.
