Abstract
Previously unknown 5-azolylpyrans were obtained by reactions of N-acet onyl- and N-phenacylimidazoles, -triazoles, and -tetrazoles with arylm ethylenemalononitriles. The structure of -methyl-5-(5-nitrotetrazol-2- yl)-4-phenyl-4H-pyran was established by X-ray structural analysis.
