Abstract
Measurements of the dielectric permittivity are reported for a deutera ted solid solution of gamma-irradiated antiferroelectric (betaine phos phate)(0.15) ferroelectric (betaine phosphite)(0.85) at frequencies 20 Hz < nu < 1 MHz. The freezing phenomena in DPB0.15DBPI0.85 revealed t he characteristics of a transition into a dipolar glass state. The act ivation energy was found to be E(b) = 311.6 K (0.027 eV). The Kutnjak model showed a non-typical glass behaviour with an estimated glass tem perature of 55.4 K.
