Abstract
The scintillation pulse-height spectra of YAlO3:Ce crystals when irrad iated by different isotopes are presented. The optimum crystal thickne ss is almost-equal-to 0.35 mm, the detection efficiency is close to 80 % at an energy of 14.4 keV, and the energy resolution with an FEU-85 p hotomultiplier is as high as 38%.
