Cross sections for evaporation residue formation in the systems Ni-58,
Ni-64 + Mo-92, Mo-100 have been measured over a large range of energi
es using the gas-filled magnet technique for the separation of project
iles and evaporation residues. Contrary to the results of previous stu
dies, good agreement between the experimental data and coupled-channel
calculations is observed for both, excitation functions and spin dist
ributions for Ni-64 + Mo-100.
