Abstract
The interaction of amplitude soliton with an impurity in a one-dimensi onal Peierls system is investigated. The total energy is calculated. I t is shown that bond soliton-impurity states may be formed. The solito n reflection coefficient and the transition frequencies between the bo und states are estimated.
