Abstract
Samarium and manganese modified lead titanate thin films were fabricat ed by a sol-gel method using acetic acid with n-propanol, and acetylac etone with 2-methoxyethanol as two different sets of solvents. The thi n films were annealed at different temperatures of 700, 800, 850, and 900 degrees C for 1 h. Variation of dielectric constant, dielectric lo ss, remanent polarization, and coercive field parameters were studied as a function of annealing temperature for the films processed from th e two different solvent systems.
