Abstract
Similar to intact crayfish animals with an isolated protocerebrum exhi bit a competent control for circadian variations of glucose concentrat ion in the hemolymph. However, the sudden increase in glucose concentr ation induced by stressing influences in intact or partially deafferen ted animals dropped or became totally suppressed in the preparations w ith isolated protocerebrum.
