Abstract
The principal aim of this study was to create a more efficient method of suturing the vaginal flaps using the ''double-breasted'' flap repai r technique, in order to prevent tearing out, a principal reason for p ostoperative failure. The preliminary results in 21 patients using bot h ''free tapes'' and permanent sling methods indicate that the new tec hnique appears give a markedly improved primary cure rate.
