The addition of the in situ generated anion (OC)5W=C(NEt2)CH2CS2- to t
he organometallic Lewis acid, (OC)5Re+ and Ph3PAu+ gives the ligand-br
idged complexes (OC)5W=C(NEt2)CH2C(S)S-Re(CO)5 (1) and (OC)5W=C(NEt2)C
H2C(S)-S-AuPPh3 (2), respectively. The dianion (OC)5W=C(NEt2)CH=CS22-
affords with MeI, Cl2M(PPh3)2 (M = Pd, Pt) and (OC)5Re+ the complexes
(OC)4W=C(NEt2)CH=C(SMe)SMe (3), (OC)5W=C(NEt2)CH=CS2M(PR3)2 (4,5) and
(OC)5W=C(NEt2)CH=CS2 (Re(CO)5]2 (6). The anion (OC)5W=C(NEt2)CH2CS2- i
s added to coordinated ethene and allyl ligands of cationic complexes
with formation of the hydrocarbon-bridged ComPounds (OC)5W=C(NEt2)CH2C
(S)SCH2CH2-W(CO)3CP (7), (OC)5W=C(NEt2)-CH2C(S)SCH2CH2-Re(CO)5 (8) and
(OC)5W=C(NEt2)CH2C(S)SCH2CH=CH2-eta2-Mo(NO)(CO)Cp (9), respectively.
The structure of 6 has been determined by X-ray diffraction.
