Abstract
The synthesis and spectroscopic behaviour of (CO)3Cr(C5H4=CH-C5H4)FeC5 H5 is described. The compound shows a bathochromic shift in the UV/vis -spectra of 20 nm upon changing the solvent from n-hexane to THF. The NMR spectra suggest that there is no internal rotational motion in the molecule at room temperature.
