Abstract
A technique for modeling hadronic cascades in the atmosphere and the p roblems of muon transport through rock at energies 10(14)-10(18) eV ar e discussed. Original procedures of simulating complicated events like hadron and muon interactions at superhigh energies are proposed. The technique developed for modeling cascades in two media (the atmosphere and rock) can be used for studies carried out both at underground det ectors and in setups with above-ground and underground detectors.
