Abstract
Overwintering adult potato leafhoppers caged on branches of Rb-enhance d loblolly pine were found to contain high levels of Rb, suggesting th e use of pines as host plants. Previously unreported, use of southern pines as both resting sites and hosts may represent a significant comp onent of the overwintering ecology of this migrant crop pest.
