A method for formation of Langmuir films from antibodies based on an a
mphiphilic polyelectrolyte has been developed. The physicochemical and
immunochemical properties of the novel Langmuir films were studied. I
t was found that the interaction of HBsAg with Langmuir films is descr
ibed by the model with one binding site and provides the immunoenzyme
assay sensitivity of similar to 0,2 ng/ml. The interaction of HBsAg wi
th the antibodies adsorbed on the polysteren plate surface is describe
d by the model with the positive cooperativity and provides the assay
to reach sensitivity of 2-3 ng/ml.
