Abstract
The flotation/filter is a synergistic combination of a dissolved air f lotation clarifier over an automatic backwash sand filter. A descripti on is given of this system which combines several process functions in one tank. A new model has been developed with higher flow capacity pe r area. Applications include incoming water treatment and color remova l, tertiary wastewater treatment and closed-loop water recycling syste ms.
