Abstract
Three novel dammarane glycosides together with six known compounds wer e isolated from a methanol extract of the aerial parts of Gynostemma p entaphyllum. Their structures were elucidated by one- and two-dimensio nal NMR experiments, including H-1-H-1 correlation spectroscopy (DQFCO SY and TOCSY) and H-1-C-13 heteronuclear correlation (HMQC and HMBC).
