Abstract
A new 9,10-dihydrophenanthrene derivative, named racemosol, was isolat ed from the roots of Asparagus racemosus. Its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic analysis as hydro-1,5-dimetboxy-8-methyl-2,7-phenant hrenediol. Copyright (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
