Abstract
Using a modified semi-empirical approach, Stark broadening parameters for 12 Zn II and 8 Cd II spectral lines have been calculated as a func tion of temperature. The results obtained have been compared with avai lable experimental data. The influence of the oscillator strengths acc uracy on Stark broadening parameter calculation has been investigated.
