A key question in neuroreflexology is how stimuli and responses are li
nked. In respondent (reflex) processes, located on a synapse, the cont
rolling stimulus precedes the response and elictis it. Operant process
es are controlled by consequent stimuli that follow the response. Ther
efore, operant conditioning may be designated as being beyond the refl
ex arc. The mind-body problem is discussed from aspects of a network t
heory, fractal dimension and quantum physics.
