The sorption properties of fibrous adsorbents of the Tiopan type - cop
olymers of polyacrylonitrile with grafted polyglycidyl methacrylate, c
ontaining diethyldithiocarbamate, thiol, and 8-mercaptoquinoline group
s - with respect to K-2[IrCl6] were studied. The kinetic and capacity
characteristics or the sorbents were determined in hydrochloric acid a
nd chloride solutions. The mechanism of the complex formation of iridi
um with fibers as polymer ligands was established.
