The room-temperature radiation electric conductivity of 15 polymer mat
erials under continuous irradiation with electrons (60 and 75 keV) and
protons (7.7 MeV) in the dose rate interval 1-10(4) Gy/sec was invest
igated. The parameters A(m), DELTA, and delta were determined for all
polymers studied. It is shown that the radiation electric conductivity
is produced by both the free-charge mechanism (in PETP, PS, PEN, PPMI
) and the heminal mechanism (in PP, PTFE, PMMA, and other) mechanisms.
Conductivity of a mixed type is observed in HPPE. The Rose-Fowler-Vai
sberg theory is modified for the case of heminal electric conductivity
.
