Abstract
Primary HIV infection (PHI) was originally described as mononucleosis like syndrome. However with the increasing number of cases, some sympt oms even non specifics, when associated, became suggestive of PHI. On the other hand PHI is a protean disease and, pulmonary, neurologic or renal involvement have been described. The purpose of this review was, 1) to confirm suggestive clinical symptoms, 2) to collect the publish ed clinical features, 3) to collect the published biological features. Obviously in the future other clinical and biological features will b e described, therefore, in front of any atypic clinical or biological syndrome, PHI must be evocated.
