Abstract
Focal myositis is considered a rare self-limiting inflammatory swellin g of skeletal muscle. Focal involvement of individual muscle or muscle groups with severe myopathic and inflammatory changes characterizes t he histology. We report the development of progressive focal myositis in both upper eyelids of a 34 year old man that responded to immunosup pressive therapy.
