Abstract
Tc-99m-pertechnetate can conveniently be concentrated 5-20-fold by pas sing up to 20 ml through a sequence of two (or three) disposable colum ns, one (or two) to remove chloride and one to concentrate the pertech netate for subsequent elution with a small volume of saline. This proc edure is useful for utilizing eluates with low radioactive concentrati on in applications that require high radioactive concentration.
