Abstract
A CO2 waveguide laser with an intracavity hot cell, which is capable o f being operated on the 00-degrees-2 sequence transitions, is describe d. More than 15 lines in the 10.4 mum sequence band having maximum out put power up to 1.2 W have been observed from a simple grating-tuned c avity.
