Abstract
Due to an eddy current-free sample holder of a high mass density, it i s possible to investigate the magnetic relaxation of high temperature superconductors at early times with a Faraday magnetometer. The experi ments can be performed beginning after t0 almost-equal-to 1 s with a r esolution of 10(-5) in the susceptibility.
