Abstract
Cycloaddition between 2-[isopropyl(trimethylsilyl)amino]phosphaacetyle ne 1 and several P-halogenated phosphaalkenes XP=C(SiMe3)R 2a-c (2a : X = Cl, R = SiMe3; 2b : X = Br, R = SiMe3; 2c : X = Cl, R = Ph) leads to the corresponding 1,2-dihydro-1,3-diphosphetes 3a-c. Reaction of 3a with iodotrimethylsilane afforded the iodine derivative 4. The thermo lysis of 3a in presence of HMPT proceeds via elimination of chlorotrim ethylsilane to yield the tricyclic zatetraphosphatricyclo[6.2.0.0(3,6) ]deca-3,8-diene 7, the X-ray structure of which is reported.
