Abstract
The reaction of C60 1 with (CF3)2C=S=N-Ad 2 (Ad = adamantyl) yields th e mono adduct 3 and hexa adduct 4. Treatment Of C60 with an excess of (CF3)2NO 5 results in the formation of C60[(CF3)2NO]18 6. The new comp ounds have been characterized by NMR and elemental analysis.
