Ag. Egorov et al., MATHEMATICAL-MODELING OF THE MOTION OF A SOLID INCLUSION IN A NONISOTHERMAL ICE MASS, Colloid journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 55(3), 1993, pp. 350-357
A study is made of the migration of a solid spherical particle in a no
nisothermal ice mass. A mathematical model is proposed to account for
the presence of the impurity and the effect of disjoining pressure in
the thin liquid layer between the ice and the particle, as well as for
surface tension at the ice-film interface. are found for surface tens
ion, the Hamaker constant, and impurity concentration in the liquid la
yer agreement is seen between the experimental and theoretical data fo
r these values.
