Abstract
The influence of the temperature, ethanol, and sodium bromide on the b ehavior of ylacetyl-N,N-dimethyl-N-methacryloyl-ethylammonium bromide in monolayers at the water-argon interface was investigated. A decreas e in the temperature and addition of sodium bromide to the aqueous pha se lead to an increase in the rigidity and a decrease in the compressi bility of the monolayer, while an increase in the temperature and the addition of ethanol result in its loosening up.
