Abstract
This letter presents a novel approach to low driving power optical mod ulation by using a waveguide resonator. A modified technique called et ched lift off is used for electrode deposition. A modulation bandwidth of 1 GHz at 1.15 mum was achieved by a driving voltage of 1.5 V for 8 4% modulation. (C) 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
