PECULIARITIES OF ORDERING TYPE PHENOMENA IN OPEN SYSTEMS - MEAN-FIELDTREATMENT FOR AN ALLOY UNDER THE IRRADIATION MODEL

We consider ordering phase transitions in an alloy under the irradiati on model using a mean-field type approach. We show that mixing of atom ic positions by irradiation suppresses the ordering tendency. It also promotes either decomposition or an unusual thermodynamic behaviour un der alloy ordering.
