INTRATHORACIC GANGLIONEUROMA - CASE-REPORT

Ganglioneuromas are rare, benign neoplasms, arising from the sympathet ic nervous system. The posterior mediastinum is the most common locati on of this neurogenic tumour. We present this case because of the prob lem of its diagnosis. Our patient had in fact been under observation f or about twenty years. The size of the tumour caused a restriction of the pulmonary function.
