Abstract
Induced second harmonic generation in a set of color lead-contained gl asses was observed. The efficiency of conversion into second harmonic was at an average an order of magnitude higher than that in germanium doped silica fiber preforms. The greatest conversion efficiency has be en observed in cerium doped lead-silica glasses.
