Abstract
We describe a case whose clinical features strongly suggested Still's disease, which led to the discovery of breast cancer. Our patient's sy mptoms consisting of fever, joint inflammation, pleuritis, and pericar ditis, were initially resistant to high doses of steroids, and disappe ared only after the cancer was removed, despite rapid tapering and ces sation of steroid therapy. A paraneoplastic phenomenon seems probable.
